Foreclosures Hitting the Courtrooms in Florida

According to an article on HousingWatch.com, the average foreclosure now takes about 438 days and delinquent borrowers are finding out they can live rent-free for at least a year. The catch is that the nationwide average might not apply to you state. All My Sons of Jacksonville found out the longest wait time for foreclosure happens in states that require judicial foreclosure which means the case has to go to court. Do the Math Before You Buy

All My Sons of Jacksonville movers learnt that, whether it’s better for you to buy or rent might depend on where you’ll be living. Even though there are low mortgage interest rates and home prices are also compared to previous years when real estate was booking, buying is not best for everyone. The Trulia website has created a price-to-rent ratio to help people decide what’s best for them: Rent of buy. The price-to-rent ratio dealt with 50 US cities with the highest population. The formula behind the math involves not only the mortgage versus the rent, it includes other factors like closing costs, principal and interest, insurance, property taxes and other things.
The Wall Street journal says that as a rule of thumb, homes are fairly valued in a city when they cost about 15 times a year’s rent. So if you’re paying $10,000 for rent every year, you should think twice before buying a home that’s more than $150,000. The local Jacksonville movers are proud to say that Jacksonville , FL is one of the best cities to buy versus rent. The list also includes our neighbors in Miami, Arlington, TX, Fresno, California, Last Vegas, Phoenix and San Antonio.

What’s a Weamer?

All My Sons of Jacksonville found out there’s a new term out there in the home owning world. Ebico, the UK’s only nonprofit energy company defines a ‘weamer’ as someone that wastes energy and money. They recently released a study that claims over 60% of British households argues over wasting energy and therefore money, in the home. In the UK, the majority of respondents, actually 78%, declared their home was occupied by at least one energy-waster. 23% of those blamed their mates and 15% blamed themselves. The solution to the weamer-driven fights is to become more energy efficient. Ebico’s managing director reminds us that “turning the thermostat down by one degree can save 10% on an annual energy bill.” The local Jacksonville movers remind weamers that they can switch out lightbulbs, start a little garden, turn off the lights when no one’s home and so on. There are plenty of ways to conserve energy, be green and be good to the planet. Every little bit counts and with good habits come co-habitating pleasures.

If you just moved into a new place, along with moving your furniture, settling in, redecorating and everything in between, the All My Sons of Jacksonville movers feel this might be a time that you might want to establish new habits relating to home. Whether it’s organizing things differently or keeping the place regularly clean, there are little changes you can do to also help your health. For example, changing the place you typically keep your toothbrush. According to an article on Health.MSN.com, the worst place you can keep a toothbrush is by the bathroom sink. While there’s nothing wrong with the actual sink, it’s more like its location that’s no good. It’s next to the toilet. There are 3.2 million microbes per square inch in the average toilet bowl, and all of those germs are propelled up to six feet every time you flush. They can settle on the floor, sink and even on a toothbrush. So the best place to keep what cleans your mouth and teeth is behind closed doors like a medicine cabinet or cupboard nearby. The Jacksonville movers remind that you that some homes, especially in older condominium units, have separate bathrooms from sinks or vanity mirrors, so in that case there’s no fear of germs landing on your toothbrush. So the next time you shop for a home, check out the bathroom layouts more carefully.
