30-year Mortgage Falls Below 4%

The Jacksonville local movers heard about big news. Just last week, the average rate for a 30-year mortgage dropped below 4% to 3.94%. Freddie Mac is saying it’s the first time in history that this has happened. Last year, during the same period, the rate was 4.27%. The 15-year mortgage also fell for the sixth consecutive week and now at 3.26% compared to last year’s 3.72%.

These mortgage rates are not necessarily good for the economy, but they might be great for those of you who are looking to purchase homes. The real estate market is flooded with beautiful homes at affordable prices. There’s a large inventory of houses with small price tags in various communities of all sizes. All it takes is a little research to sort through the home listings and the help of a professional realtor.

When you find your dream home, don’t forget to call the local Jacksonville moving specialists for help with professional moving services at a great price. You can even get your moving quote online and read up on moving tips and packing advice for an easy move. And don’t stress about finding moving boxes, they’re one click away!
