There Are Gender Differences Even When Buying A Home

According to an article on Walletpop.com, there’s another added difference between the sexes. Men and women are different even when buying a home. A new survey from ZipRealty.com found that men were significantly more likely than women to want a room with a view and a bedroom for guests. Men were slightly more likely to want a garage, ample storage and a large yard, but they also wanted more closet space. They preferred a home office over kids’ playroom. All My Sons of Jacksonville found out that the same things typically expected to be on the top of the list in terms of home must-haves and home deal breakers were there. However, the surprise was that the things stereotypically associated as being female priorities were more men priorities. Men were likely to balk at superficial details like unkempt landscaping or curb appeal. Both sexes wanted walk-in closets and master suites and green attributes.
